Now we come to the book of Leviticus, the book of holiness and worship, where Jehovah M’Kaddesh shows a redeemed people how they should live a holy life. ¨ Leviticus (NIV) 7 “‘Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am the Lord your God.
8 Keep My decrees and follow them. The answer may be in this Name of God, Jehovah M’Kaddesh. The Book of Leviticus speaks to a People who had already been redeemed. It spoke of the sanctification of Life that must follow one’s rescue from Sin and Satan by the power of the Blood of the Lamb.
It sets forth the way which the Jewish Pilgrims were expected to live. Jesus prayed for His disciples, 'Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.- (John ). And so we have seen the two appointed means of our sanctification - the Holy Spirit and the Holy Bible.
These are the means that the Lord Jehovah M'Kaddesh uses these to make us holy, just as He is holy. Jehovah-Nissi = Jehovah Our Banner - We are brought together under Him and He brings victory.
